Obituary of C. Robert Danaher

DANAHER-the death of C. Robert 'Bob' Danaher of 93 Turnbull Place, husband of Margaret R. (Campbell) Danaher, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 17, 2005. Mr. Danaher was born in Saint John, a son of the late Charles E. and Lillian (McCaw) Danaher. He had been a self-employed structural steel and prestressed concrete designer and was well-known in the construction industry in Saint John. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Masonic Temple. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Sean (Judy) of Saint John, and Allen (Michelle) of Oakville, Ont.; one brother, Donald of Hampton; three sisters, Frances Stronach of Wolfborough, N.H., Donna Danaher and Glenda Ruderford, both of Saint John; two of granddaughters, Danielle and Kendra; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Saturday morning at 10:30. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciate.
