Obituary of Daryl Gallant

The death of Daryl Gallant of 115 Woodhaven Drive, husband of Shirley Elliott, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2005. Mr. Gallant was born in Souris, P.E.I., a son of Blanche (Campbell) Gallant of Charlottetown and the late Francis Gallant, and had resided the greater part of his life in Saint John, where he was employed with Industrial Security. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Wayne. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Chantelle Gallant (John Brideau) and Cindy (Lee) Seale, both of Saint John; and three grandchildren, Zachary and Taylor Seale and Kyle Rogers. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
