Obituary of M. Louise Eldridge

The death of M. Louise Eldridge, widow of J. Bryson Eldridge, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, January 20, 2005. Mrs. Eldridge was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Louis and Josephine (Quinn) Owens. She was a member of St. Vincent's Alumnae Association; the Catholic Women's League; and Westfield Golf and Country Club. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Rev. L. Gerard Owens, C.S.s.R., and George E. Owens; and a sister, Mary Harris (the late Frank). She is survived by four sons, Bryson (Jacqueline) Eldridge of Toronto, William (Trina) Eldridge of Grand Bay-Westfield, Robert Eldridge of Saint John, and Gerard (Susan) Eldridge of Ottawa; two daughters, Anne (David) Cole of Austin, Texas, and Katherine (Ralph) Furness of Saint John; one brother, Rev. Joseph Owens, C.S.s.R. of Toronto; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Tuesday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rocmaura Foundation Inc. or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
