Obituary of Joseph Cornelius Blanchard

The death of Joseph Cornelius Blanchard of Saint John, NB, occurred on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Freetown, PE, he was a son of the late Earl and Cecile (LeClaire) Blanchard. He is survived by one daughter: Imelda Murray (Kevin) of the United States; two grandchildren: Sarah and Laura; several cousins on PEI. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother: Francis Blanchard. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 10:00 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965).
