Obituary of Ada G. Paschal

The death of Mrs. Ada G. Paschal of 23 Paddock St., wife of Charles R. Paschal, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 9, 2004, after a brief illness. Mrs. Paschal was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Herman and Laura (Hansen) Merzetti. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, John T. Jamieson; one son, John T. Jamieson; three brothers, James, Donald, and David Merzetti; and one sister, Mary Ellsworth. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Fudge (David) of Saint John, and Deborah Jamieson of Saint John; three brothers, Herman Merzetti of North Bay, Ont., Robert Merzetti (Joanne) of Saint John, and Paul Merzetti (Barbara) of Quispamsis; one sister, Dorothy O'Reilly of Saint John; her-daughter-in-law, Linda Jamieson of Levack, Ont.; her brother-in-law, Earl W. Paschal of Thunder Bay; three sisters-in-laws, Marion Paschal of Sutton, Ont., and Louise Merzetti and Ellen Tucker, both of Saint John; 7 grandchildren, Robert Fudge (Kim), Jacqueline Gagnon (Roland), Chris Lee (Cara), Heather Robia (Ken), Suzanne Jeffries (Chris), Andrew Jamieson (Tammy), and Craig Jamieson; 11 great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Fudge, Kathleen and Emma Gagnon, Joshua Lee, Molly and Sophie Robia, Nicholas and Harley Jeffries, and John and Karly Jamieson; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint John Boys and Girls Club or charity of your choice.
