Obituary of Jennifer Elizabeth Thomson

It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer "Jenny" Thomson of Quispamsis, NB, announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born on August 16, 1942 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Jennifer was the daughter of the late Richard and Jean (Freeland) Spain and the wife of the late Jim Thomson. She is survived by her son Michael (Stephanie) and their children David, Ben, Adam and Lily, daughter Jackie (Jim) Sherrard and their children Michael and Jessica; niece Sarah Spain and nephew Richard Spain. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Spain Sr. Jennifer was a member of the Kennebecasis Baptist Church, and volunteered for many years at the K.V. Foodbank and K.V.H.S. Kraft Dinner Club. Jennifer will be sadly missed by best friend Susan Sherrard, who was at her side to the end, and close friend Ken Elliott. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (849-2119) with a Celebration of Jennifer's life that will take place at Kennebecasis Baptist Church, on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's 6th Floor Restorative Care Unit.
