Obituary of John Frederick Long

It is with great sadness we announce that the death of John (Jack) Long, beloved husband of Edythe Mae (Donner) Long, occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Born in West Saint John in 1925, he was the son of the late Fred and Lulu Long. Jack resided in Grand Bay-Westfield most of his life. Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Robert (Bob) Long, Wayne (Kim) Long and James (Peggy) Long, along with three grandchildren, Jason Long, Christopher Long and Roslyn Long and Grampy Jack's pride and joy, great grandchildren, Brianna and Riley. Jack is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral service held at Jack's request. Remembrances to the IWK Children's Hospital or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
