Obituary of Harvie Edgar Miller

The death of Harvie Edgar Miller of 55 Hayes Avenue, Saint John West, husband of the late Leah (Dunlop) Miller, occurred on October 23, 2004, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Bayswater, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and Myrtle (Currie) Miller. Harvie owned and operated Eastern Insulation for 42 years, before his retirement in 1988. He was a member of South Bay United Church and the three M's Band, Miller, Morrison and McNally playing for people's enjoyment especially seniors and nursing home residence. He is survived by two daughters, Lynda Robichaud (Omer) of Hardings Point and Carol Ann White of Quispamsis, one brother, Gerald Miller of Truro, NS, six grandchildren, Jamie (Lisa), Stacy (Chris) and Marc Robichaud and Alexander, Sarah and Victoria White and four nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Ernest and one sister, Muriel. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at 1:00 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place in the Loyalist Cemetery, Hardings Point. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
