Obituary of John Frederick Webb

Webb, John Frederick The death of John Frederick Webb, husband of Theresa Mary (Murphy) Webb, occurred on October 12, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Norton, NB, he was the son of the late Jesse Frederick and Mabel (Howe) Webb. He served overseas during WW II with the Canadian Army. He was employed with the DVA Hospital and the Worker's Compensation Board retiring as supervisor of housekeeping. Besides his wife he is survived by his children John Jr. of Orillia, ON, Wayne and his wife Cheryl of Wirral, NB, Phillip and his wife Viola of Saint John, Linda Webb of Saint John, Donald and his wife Andrea of Saint John, Joe and his wife Wendy of Saint John, Marilyn McDonald and her husband Kenneth of Saint John, Peter Webb of Toronto, ON, Donna Craft and her husband Bradley of Saint John, his sisters Florence McLeod and her husband Peter of Fredericton, Phyllis Clements of Bradford, ON, his nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Christopher Webb and his sisters Pearl Reicker and Mildred Webb. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2004, at 1:00 PM from Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
