Obituary of Josephine Freelove McLellan

The death of Josey McLellan, wife of the late David McLellan occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was born on April 25, 1919 in Port Lorne, NS to the late Daniel and Odessa (Sabian) Lewis. Josey was an exceptional wife and mother, she devoted a lot of her life to her family. She worked as a cleaner in the Provincial Building and as a foreman in the McGready Pickle Factory.  She is survived by her sons: Gary (Mary Ann) and Robert (Pat) both of Saint John, Allan (Jean) of Nauwigewauk and Phil (Heather) of Scott's Settlement; daughter, Judy McLellan of Halifax; brother, Russell Lewis and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, sons: David and Brian; great-granddaughter, Ashley Don Marie and several brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 am from Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the I.W.K. Hospital would be appreciated by the family.Â
