Obituary of Beverly Emerson MacKenzie

The unexpected death of Bev MacKenzie occurred at his residence in Clarendon, NB to Friday, May 3, 2012. He was born in Truro, NS on October 7, 1959 to the late Donald and Elva (Hurst) MacKenzie. He was an accomplished Chef and work in the Food Industry for many years. Bev loved to play backgammon and cribbage in his spare time. He is survived by his brothers: William and Donald both of Truro, NS; sisters: Jeanetta Fleming of Welsford, NB and Deborah MacKenzie (Eddie) of Minto, NB and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; life partner, Kenneth Price; sister, Rhonda and brother-in-law, George Fleming. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506-634-7425). A celebration of Bev's life will be held at Jeanetta's Home, 1414 Highway 7, Welsford, NB on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in Staples Settlement Cemetery, Hainesville, NB at a later date. Remembrances to a living memorial would be appreciated by the family.Â
