Obituary of Reginald W. Harris
HARRIS, Reginald W. Â Surrounded by his family, the death of Reginald Harris, husband of the late Stella Harris, occurred on Friday, September 2, 2011, at Kennebec Manor. He was born November 7th, 1926 in Gloucester, England to the late Reginald Thomas and Annie (Rayment) Harris. Stella and Reginald would have celebrated their 62nd anniversary on July 2nd. Reginald retired from T.S Simms after 43 years, as a supervisor in the paint brush department. Reginald enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling and four-wheeling; and especially enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reginald is survived by his two sons, Reginald (Hope) of Saint John, Floyd (Melanie) of Grand Bay-Westfield, sister-in-law Marguerite of New Maryland, sisters Violet Wood and Florence Jones (Hartley), both of Fredericton, grandchildren April (Mike), Reggie (Miranda), Katelyn and Thomas, as well as great-grandchildren Megan, Stephanie, Ryan, Alexis and Logan, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to the love of his life, Stella, who also worked at T.S Simms for 45 years, and his parents, Reginald was pre-deceased by his sisters Dorothy and Winifred, and his brother, Cornelius (Neil). Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425). Reginald and Stella will both be laid to rest at a private graveside service, which will be held at a later date.
