Obituary of Nicole Marie Daigle
Nicole Daigle, wife of Eric Daigle died at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.   A long time resident of the Saint John area, she was born on September 28, 1949 in Saint-Simon, NB to the late Emile and Louisa (LeBouthillier) Albert. Nicole worked for Work-Safe NB for over 20 years retiring in 2001. Nicole was a dedicated wife and loving mother; always putting her family's needs above her own. She was an avid gardener and could be found in her flower beds from Spring to Fall of every year.  Besides her husband Eric, Nicole is survived by her two children: Denis (Charles) of Montreal, QC and Monique Daigle of Saint John; two grandchildren: Travis and Natalie; two brothers: Emilien (Anne) of Saint John and Jean-Guy (Line) of Saint-simon; sister, Francine Setchell (Mike) of Grand Bay-Westfield and several nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit and also the staff of Kennebecasis Extra Mural Program.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with private visitation for family and friends on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 2:00 – 9:00 PM. There will be no traditional funeral service. Interment will take place in Saint- Simon Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saint-Simon, NB at a later date.
