Obituary of Adrienne Marie Power

It is with great sadness that the family of Adrienne Power (Boucher) of Millidgeville, NB, wife of the late Martin Power for 38 years, announce her passing on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 12, 1944 in Shediac Bridge , NB, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Cora Boucher (Hebert). Adrienne is survived by her daughters; Lisa Power-Dunlavey (Ryan) of Minneapolis, MN, Michelle Power (Craig Shaw) of Quispamsis and Colleen Adams (Sean) of Moncton, grandchildren; Ben, Brooke, Kaitlyn, Asher, Emerson, Landon and Hudson, brothers; Leo-Paul (Florence) Boucher, Gerald (Claudette) Boucher and several nieces and nephews. Adrienne was a wonderful wife, mother, Mémère and friend. She grew up in Shediac Bridge and was a teacher who became a homemaker. She spent her summers in Cocagne Cape at the cottage by the ocean. She had a passion for gardening, home decorating and her grandchildren who gave her much joy. She will be remembered as a strong, confident, beautiful lady who looked much younger than her years. Adrienne and Martin instilled to their girls the importance of education and always putting family first. A resilient lady of great faith, she was loved and respected by many. She will be dearly missed. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
