Obituary of Richard Allan Lee

Richard Allan Lee, of Saint John West, left peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour February 6, 2011.  Son of the late Andrew and Mary (Brown) Lee, he will be sadly missed by his wife Claudia (Mullin), his daughters Peggy (John) Landry and Mary (Brad) Wilbur, sons Ricky (Wanda), Michael, Richard (Shelley), step daughter Cathy (Fran) Chambers, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his devoted feline companion Cloudy. Richard was predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters and his daughter Betty.  A devoted Christian, Richard found great comfort in his faith. His most treasured moments were those spent with his family and friends. Richard was an avid gardener who loved tending to his flowers and vegetable garden. He was an outdoorsman and licensed hunting guide, who cherished the time he spent hunting and fishing with his sons and friends at his camp (Lee's Hunting Lodge) at Grand Lake.  Richard touched the lives of many people with a sense of humour he maintained to the end.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the Little Lepreau Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart Function Clinic (SJRH), Hospice of Greater Saint John or Little Lepreau Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to specially thank Dr. Bewick and Rhonda (Heart Function Clinic), Doug (Wound Clinic) and Dr. Chris O'Brien and the staff of Hospice Greater Saint John who were instrumental in providing exceptional care and comfort to Richard.Â
