Obituary of Paulette Irene Bolduc

Paulette Irene Bolduc, wife of the late Paul E. Bolduc of Ste. Anne-de-Beaupré, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge, Saint John, NB. Born at Québec, QC on May 20, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Eva (Pouliot) Parent. Paul and Paulette met and fell in love in Grand Mère, QC. A constant throughout her life was her faith in God in all things. She was happiest surrounded by her family whom she loved dearly. There was always laughter in her presence, and her love of music was passed on to all her children. She was kind, funny, loving, understanding, and supportive; always placing others before herself. There was no one more loved.  Paulette is survived by her children, Hélène Bezanson (Peter Gabriel) of Dartmouth, NS, Pierre Bolduc of Ottawa, ON, Louise Bolduc Hooper (Terry) of Saint John, and Denis Bolduc (Nancy Bourque) of Saint John; grandchildren Aaron Bolduc and Raymond Bolduc; a sister Rita Sumner of New Jersey; sisters-in-law Aline, Louise, and Luçille; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and to her parents, Paulette was predeceased by a brother, Marçel Parent, a sister, Françoise Vaillancourt; and a son-in-law, Brett Bezanson.  The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of the Carleton Kirk Lodge for the wonderful care and concern shown to Mom over the past years. Thank you to the staff and all the residents for the friendship, love and caring shown to us all during her last days.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Friday, December 31, 2010 from 2-5 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery.  For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
