Obituary of Gloria M. Tippett

Gloria Tippett, wife of the late Roy J. Tippett, went to her Heavenly Home on December 16th at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born at Saint John on June 23, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Verner and Lois (Mawhinney) Warnock. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Maguire (Jeff) of Saint John, grandchildren Matthew Maguire, Kyle Tippett, Katie Tippett, Kody Tippett, Kalie Tippett, and their mother, Karen Tippett, sister-in-laws Ruth Murphy of Saint John, Esther (Donald) MacKay of Waterloo, ON, close friend Pat Marshall, as well as one niece, several nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Gloria was predeceased by her only son, Dana Tippett. Gloria worked as a secretary for Dr. James West for over 18 years, and was very involved with Grand Bay Baptist Church, and was a life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will take place in the Maces Bay Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Grand Bay Baptist Church, the Canadian Cancer Society, Lewy Body Dementia Foundation, or the Parkinson's Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
