Obituary of Norman Russell Howe

Howe, Norman R. - The death of Norman R. Howe, husband of Marie L. (Evans) Howe of Lorneville occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday January 6th, 2010. Norman was born in Norton, NB and was the son of the late T.Wesley and Ina V. (Teakles) Howe. He was a member of Lorneville United church and of L.O.L. # 29. Norman and Marie were married 54 years. He enjoyed camping and playing horseshoes and will be greatly missed by his wife and family. Norman is predeceased by an infant sister Dorothy and several aunts and uncles. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Rick Howe (Sharon) of Prince of Wales, NB, Randy Howe (Leatha) and Grant Howe (Shirley) both of Lorneville; one daughter Melody Downey (Murray) of Lorneville; eight grandchildren: Geoff Downey (Brandi), Erica Beckwith (Kevin), Andrew, Stacey, Wesley, Paul, Jamie and Dayle Howe; one great-grandson Kaiden Downey; four sisters-in-law: Bernice George, Lorna Boyd, Leona Allaby and Linda Evans and one brother-in-law, Douglas Evans. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (506-634-7425) from where the funeral will be held on Saturday January 9, 2010 from the Bay View Chapel with funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, following the burial a reception will be held at the Bay View Reception Center. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
