Obituary of Jane Davidson

The death of Jane Davidson, wife of George E. Davidson, occurred on January 15, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Windsor, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Persis (Perkins) Lawrence. She was employed as a library clerk with the Saint John Regional Library. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Maces Bay, and was a life member of the ACW. She loved to be involved with people. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters M. Elizabeth Jamieson and her husband James of Orleans, ON, Ruth McLellan and her husband Roderick of Keswick Ridge, NB, her step-daughters Barbara (Smith) (Ritchie) Edwards of Fredericton and her husband Stirling, Julia Davidson and her husband Jay Lippman of Philadelphia, Susan Pineo and her husband Michael of Yarmouth, NS, Catherine Hogan and her husband Jim of Aurora, ON, Elizabeth Feindel and her husband Darren of Bridgewater, NS, her brothers John Lawrence and his wife Dorothy of Tecumseh, Kansas, Karl Lawrence and his wife Joyce of Hampton, George Lawrence and his wife Yvonne of Rockland, California, her sisters Ann Longthorpe of Hampton, Kathleen MacLeod of Coburg, ON, Frances Langstroth and her husband William of Malagash Point, NS, Carol Kubelis and her husband Joseph of Dracut, Mass, her ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband John E. Smith, her step-son Carl Smith and her brother William Lawrence. Following cremation visiting will be held at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2004, at 5:00 PM, from Trinity Anglican Church, Maces Bay. Interment will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
