Obituary of Dorothy M. Till

The death of Dorothy M. Till, a resident of the Gagetown Nursing Home for the past 3 years, occurred on December 13, 2003, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Geary, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clowes and Elsidore (Howe) Till. She was employed for over 37 years with T. S. Simms Brush Factory. She was a member of Calvary Temple and enjoyed quilting with the church quilting guild. She enjoyed bowling with the T. S. Simms Bowling League and various other leagues. She is survived by her aunt Hilda Carr of Geary, her special niece Sandra and her husband Robert Upshall and their son Daniel of Saint John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her sister Leatha Till and her niece Sharron McCarthy predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at 11:00 AM, from Calvary Temple, Sydney Street. Interment will take place in the Upper Geary Cemetery.
