Obituary of J. George LeBlanc

The death of J. George LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, husband of Cecile M. (Lanteigne) LeBlanc, occurred on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late, Amedee J. and Marion (Wallace) LeBlanc. George was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 25 years at the Saint John Terminal. George was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and gardening. George is survived by his daughters; Mary Ann Fallon (Brent) and Georgina "Gina" Jacquard (Wayne) both of Saint John, his sisters; Emma and Theresa Wallace, his brothers; Emile LeBlanc, Marurice LeBlanc (Rita) and Jean LeBlanc (Adrice), his grandchildren; Diana, Brent, Holly, Michael, Peter Fallon and step-grandchild, Shyla, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers; Amidee, Raymond, Clarence and Gerald and sisters; Dorothy, Margarite Gallant and Bernice Phillips. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Monday from 7 – 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 10:00am from St. Rose of Lima Church, Saint John. Interment to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the IWK, Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Hospice of Saint John or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
