Obituary of Rose M. Foster

The death of Rose Foster, of Saint John, NB, wife of the late, Harold E. Foster, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 28, 2007. Born in Gravesend, England, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Harriet (Heaver) Henley. Rose was employed for many years as an Executive for Housekeeping at the Mississauga Hospital. She enjoyed being a Girl Guide Leader and volunteering at the Art Gallery in Toronto. Rose loved to sew and enjoyed needlework. Survived by her daughter, Liz Forrest (Bob) of Welsford, NB, her grandchildren; Mark Pasheri (Shannon), Andrea Chilelli (Mario), Jeff Forrest (Melissa Farren), Mike Forrest (Erin) and Ashley Hicks, her great-grandchildren; Miranda, Matthew, Jacob, Mackenzie, Sarah and Jorja. Besides her husband, Rose is predeceased by her daughters; Ann Pasheri and Marilyn Hicks. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (634-7425). At her request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 11:00 am at Brenan's Bay View Chapel. Interment to take place in Loyalist Cemetery, Harding's Point, NB.
