Obituary of Charles Frederick Donald

The death of Charles Frederick Donald, husband of Mary (Long) Donald, occurred on September 28, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Edson and Sadie (McCutcheon) Donald. He was involved in excavation and trucking work throughout his life. He was a member of Wesley United Church, Brown's Flat and he enjoyed horse-pulls, hunting, hockey and baseball. He is survived by his children Todd (Kelly) of Morrisdale, Jeff (Gloria) of Brown's Flat, Sherri Edgecombe (John Downing) of Brown's Flat, Laura Clark (Trent) of Brown's Flat, Ashly Mitchell of Brown's Flat, Christopher of North Carolina, Crista Donald of Plaster Rock, brother John (Joan), sisters Elsie Johnson, Phyllis Copp, Alberta Laurie, Blanche McGowan Jean Beckett (Junior), Marion Makepeace (Doug Allan), grandchildren Emily, Jenna, Colton, Riley, Jonathan, Alexis and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Following cremation the funeral will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 1:00 pm, from the Wesley United Church, Brown's Flat, with the interment in the church cemetery. Remembrances made to the Wesley United Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
