Obituary of Alice Mae London

London, Alice Mae – The death of Alice Mae London of Saint John West, NB, wife of the late Frederick Robert London, occurred on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Barnsville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy Calhoon and Edith Mae (Totten) Ayer. Alice had been employed at K-Mart in the Cafeteria and Deli for a number of years, was a member of St. George's Church WA, attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Millidgeville, was an avid bowler, but the passion of her life was her family. Survived by three sons: Trueman and Gary, both of Saint John and Mark (Bridget) of Winnipeg, MB; five daughters: Linda (Bob) Craft and Deborah London (Roger Allain), both of Saint John, Kim (John) Brien of Rothesay, Darlene (Bernie Jr.) London – Leavitt and Dawn (Michael) Martin, both of Saint John; two brothers: Ken and Murray Ayer, both of Saint John; thirteen grandchildren: Shelly and Brett McAdam, Shelby Drummond, Kelly (Brian) Ring, Scott and Bobby-Lee Craft, Tammy (Kevin) McIntee, Michelle Allain, Darrah (Dave) Tracey, Trina (Scott) London-Foster, Vance London, Melissa (Todd) Benoit and Patrick James Martin; twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Fred and a brother, Clifford Ayer. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
