Obituary of Bernard Wayne Duguay

The death of Bernard Wayne Duguay of Bayswater, NB, husband of Louise (Brown) Duguay, occurred on Monday, July 30, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 25, 1944 in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Edward and Donalda (Scarlet) Duguay. Bernard had been employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital as an orderly and later was employed with the Compensation Board. Survived by his wife, Louise; two sons: Justin and Rory, both at home; two daughters: Nicole (Brian) Wood of Moncton, NB and Star Duguay of Saint John; two brothers: Purves (Mary) Duguay of Bayswater and Mark (Jeannie) of Fort Erie, ON; two sisters: Sandy Martin of Miramichi, NB and Patricia Merritt of Saint John; one granddaughter, Ocean Wood; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Harding's Point Loyalist Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity of choice.
