Obituary of Percy Emery Galbraith

The death of Percy Emery Galbraith of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Marjorie (Pope) Galbraith, occurred on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on October 4, 1920 in Lorneville a son of the late Charles and Maude (Gillespie) Galbraith. Percy had served with the Saint John Fusiliers during World War II and until 1980 was employed as a truck driver with CP Express. Survived by one brother, Hazen Galbraith of Lorneville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie; a brother, Verdun and a sister, Evelyn Wilson. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 2 pm with interment in the spring in Lorneville Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
