Obituary of Paul Eugene Paré

The death of Paul Eugene Paré of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Patricia (Crilley) Paré and Rosalie Vautour (Melanson) Paré occurred on Monday, February 5th , 2007 at his residence, as was his wish. Born in Waterville, Maine he was a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Cliché) Paré. Paul was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul worked for Irving Pulp and Paper for 33 years until his retirement in 1981. Loving father and grandfather, of two sons, Paul (Mary Cook) Paré, and Michael A. (Tony) Paré of Saint John,three daughters, Lorna O'Brien, Debbie (Chris) Taylor of Saint John, and Iris (Ronald) Stevens of Quispamsis, 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter. He is also survived by sister, Laurette (Albert) Gogan, 7 step-children, George, Paul, Laurie, Michael, Jack, Billy Melanson, and Roseann Shephard and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Valerie Roy, and Lynette Splane, three brothers Vincent, Florien, and Lucien, and son-in-law James O'Brien. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425) with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on Friday February 9th, 2007 at 10 am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home. Select Remembrances may be made to Shriners Hospital System for Children, Canadian Unit.
