Obituary of Maurice William Jensen

The death of Maurice "Moe" William Jensen of 712 Bay Street, Saint John West, husband of Patricia "Pat" (McAuliffe) Jensen, occurred on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sussex, NB, he was the son of the late John C. and Alice (Rothwell) Jensen. Mr. Jensen was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. He graduated from the New Brunswick Forest Ranger School in 1951 and joined the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force) from 1954-1974, and later began a career with Irving Security until his retirement in 1990. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Paul Jensen (Melissa) of Rothesay, one daughter, Krista Jensen of Saint John, one brother, John Jensen (Elaine) of Victoria, BC, three sisters, Elsie Ross of Halifax, NS, Evelyn Todd (Arthur) of Port Colburn, ON and Thyra Evans (Roger) of St. Catharines, ON, two grandchildren, Alisha and Ryan Jensen, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception to celebrate Moe's life at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425) on Saturday, January 6, 2007 between the hours of 2-4 PM.
