Obituary of Ronald Hazen RICHARDS

RICHARDS, Ronald Hazen … The death of Ronald Hazen Richards, husband of Laura Mae (Crosby) Richards of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, December 20, 1924 a son of the late James and Rose (Richardson) Richards. Ron was a veteran of World War 11 and later was employed for 20 years at the French Pastry Bakery and Vet's Taxi, for 15 years at the Saint John Dry Dock and then was self employed for 20 years with his own company, Ron's Auto Repair. Survived by his wife, Laura; two daughters, Barbara (Edwin) McFarlane of Musquash, NB and Christine (Ron) Allen of Pugwash, NS; six sisters, Vi Ebbet, Ella Parks, Major Zeversa Richards, Mary Richards, Connie (Willard) Campbell and June (Andy) Moore; five grandchildren, Ronnie (Angela), Lonnie (Tammy) and Avery (D.J.) Allen, Shane (Maryanne) and Matthew McFarlane; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, James. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Bay View Chapel on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 2 pm. A private family interment service will take place at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor's choice.
