Obituary of Peter Hay McGhee

It is with sadness we announce the death of Peter Hay McGhee (LRIC, ACIC) at the Fundy Nursing Home in Black's Harbour on December 15, 2006. He was born in Clydebank, Scotland on March 9, 1929 to David and Jane McGhee, the youngest of ten children and the last surviving member of his immediate family. His work in chemical technology led him to unexpected places and very good friends. His wife Sheila (Louden) of Maces Bay, NB, son Peter (Raylene) McGhee of Thunder Bay, ON and daughter, Lesley McGhee of Frisco, Texas will miss his sly humour. There will be a private service for Peter at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home (634-7425) followed by cremation. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Thank you to all who showed kindness to us throughout his long illness, we have always been very fortunate in our friends.
