Obituary of Charles Eric Tracy

The death of Charles Eric Tracy, husband of Lena M. (McCleary) Tracy, occurred peacefully on December 8, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born at Fredericton Junction he was the son of the late Harvey C. and Nellie M. (Segee) Tracy. He was employed as a Brakeman/Conductor with the CPR retiring in 1976. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Carleton Union Lodge # 8 F&AM. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing and spent many hours in his workshop. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Lena M. (McCleary) Tracy, sons Eric and his wife Louise of Hopewell Hill, Christopher and his wife Lenore of Quispamsis, daughters Gloria Hachey and her husband Robert Clifford of Saint John, Diane Lingley and her husband Richard of Quispamsis, brother Lawrence and his wife Alice of Saint John, grandchildren Richard Hachey, Michael Hachey, Robert Hachey, Darryl Tracy, Shawn Tracy, Troy Tracy, Shawna Lingley, Deric Lingley and Victoria Tracy, great-grandchildren Jordan, Michael, Elexie, Drew, Addison, and Ryan, expected great-granddaughter Avelyn, and several nieces and nephews. His brothers Ronald Cecil and David Neil, sister Gwendolyn and great-granddaughter Haley predeceased him.
