Obituary of Charles E. Ellis

Charles Edward Ellis passed away peacefully at his home in Morrisdale, NB, with his family by his side, on Sunday, November 5, 2006. Charlie was employed for 27 years as a Longshoreman and was a member of Local 273 I.L.A. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy (Spragg) Ellis, daughters, Brenda Losier (Peter Allison) of Saint John, Patty MacIntosh (Ronald) of Saint John and Marie Godin (Andrew) of Eastern Passage, NS, grandchildren, Tammie (Paul), Perley, Margo, Marie, Dean, Devan and Breanna, brothers, Robert (June) of Morrisdale, James (Diane) of Ontario, David (Winnie) of Nerepis and Richard (Patsy) of Saint John, sisters, Ruth Homuth (Bob) of Ontario, Marjorie Comeau of Saint John, Georgina Shaw (Gerry) of Quebec and Charlotte Ellis (Raymond) of Saint John, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, George and Edna (Beckingham) Ellis, brothers, George, Howard, John and Donald and sister, Ella. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital, Shriner's Children's Hospital or a charity of the donors' choice.
