Obituary of MABEL E. SAUNDERS

The death of Mabel Elizabeth Saunders of Browns Flat, formerly of Welsford, NB, wife of the late Douglas Saunders, occurred on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at her residence. Born in Clarendon, NB on December 15, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Rita (Wheaton) Perrin. Mabel was a life long resident of Welsford, was a member of the United Church of Canada, the UCW and enjoyed quilting, knitting and playing cards. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Paisley (George) of Browns Flat and Joan Kaine of Saint John, one brother, Howard Perrin of Hoyt, two sisters, Cora Ogden of Hoyt and Blanche Saunders of Clarendon, 7 grandchildren, Mark Lingley, Neil Lingley (Laura), Lisa Whitney (Laurie), Keith Lingley, Lorraine Lingley (Kevin), Montgomery Paisley and Owen Paisley (Laura), 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Harry Perrin and one sister, Hazel Belyea. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday 2-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Welsford United Church on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment in the Clarendon Cemetery. Remembrances to the Extra-Mural Hospital Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
