Obituary of Irenie Turnbull Gorham

Irenie died peacefully at her home in Glenwood, NB, surrounded by her children, on July 14, 2006. Born in Blantyre, Scotland, she was the wife of the late Stanley W. Gorham and daughter of the Robert and Eveline (Turnbull) Whitehouse. She is survived by daughters Mary Della Webster, Irene Jean Gorham, both of Glenwood, NB, Heather Cousins (Leonard), of Woodstock, NB, sons Jonathan (Heidi), of Riverview, NB, Kent of Edmonton, AB, brother William Whitehouse, of Milton, ON, grandchildren Tracey Scott (Doug), Tina Hanson, Verity Gorham, Robert Tait (Heather), Nathan Gorham, Joshua Gorham, Janna-Beth Gorham, Jenny Carson, Matthew Cousins, Jody Cousins, Joshua Cousins, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 cousins. Her son David and brother Robert Whitehouse predeceased her. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, Extra Mural Hospital or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
