Obituary of John Joseph Boyd

The death of Jack Boyd of Grand Bay - Westfield, NB, loving husband of Donna (Saunders) Boyd, occurred on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax, NS on September 6, 1940, a son of the late John Owen and Dorothy Mae (Evans) Boyd. Jack enjoyed golf, travelling, sports, his grandchildren and all of his family. Besides his wife Jack is survived by a daughter, Krystal (Richard) Boyd and son, John (Donna) Boyd, both of Sackville, NS; step-son, Derrick (Dianne) Saunders of Moncton, NB; brother, Fred (Donna) Boyd of Bridgetown, NS; three sisters, Deanna Bush of Sackville, NS, Susan (Mark) Levy of Georgetown, ON and Allena (Ray) Lapierre of Falmouth, NS; four grandchildren, Michael and Krista Saunders, Brandon and Taylor Boyd. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7425. Following Cremation visiting will be held on Sunday from 7-9 pm and a Memorial Service on Monday, April 10 at 2 pm from Bay View Chapel. Visiting will be held in Halifax, NS at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road on Tuesday from 7-9 pm with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, April 12 at 2 pm from Walker's Chapel. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice Saint John, the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
