Obituary of Doris Bernice Kinnear

KINNEAR, Doris Bernice ? The death of Doris Kinnear of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Douglas Kinnear, occurred on Saturday, July 9, 2005 in Riverview, NB after a brief illness. Born in Saint John on March 5, 1924 the daughter of the late Carrie E. Green. Doris spent most of her years raising her family and caring for her mother; had been employed by Victoria Street Baptist Church and the Saint John Housing Authority; was a life long member of Main Street Baptist Church. She cherished her family and enjoyed the company (and daily phone calls) of many friends, both old and new. Survived by two daughters, Susan Titus and Lori Kinnear both of Riverview; three sons, Robert (Barbara) of Saint John, Andrew (Danusia) of White Rock, BC and Ian of Barrie, ON; eight grandchildren: Andrew, Amy, Leanne, Kate, Joseph, Martha, Matthew and Lily and a great-grandchild, Colby. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 11 am from Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later time.
