Obituary of Ethel MacGregor

MacGregor, Ethel "Beryl". ? Passed away peacefully, Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Seal Cove, Grand Manan, NB, September 6, 1907, Beryl was a daughter of the late Orlando and Victoria (Foster) Joye. A dearly loved mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Joan and son-in-law Dr. Walter Hayes, grandsons Ronald and Terry (Bonnie), great-grandchildren David, Christina, Holly and Amy Hayes. A niece, Marian Bustin and her daughter Ruth also survive her. Beryl was predeceased by her first husband Leavitt Cronk, her second husband Rev. James MacGregor and sisters Alma Russell and Eunice Harvey. For many years Beryl was an active member of the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church where she sang in the choir. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7425) with visiting on Monday, July 11, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from Bay View Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In memory of Beryl donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
