So sorry to hear about Jim. Jim was my manager at Downey Ford for several years and always ran a tight ship! I always remember how he could go from the biggest smile to straight face business in a nano second. I could never keep a straight face when he did that. What can I say about about this man and gentlemen. He loved and respected his "Kimber", Mike and Kate. They were his life., along with Tanner the apple of his eye, and Mike M. and Carissa. Well - we didn't agree. all the time, we always agreed to disagree. He would say "It is okay Debbie eventually you will see things my way. Although we have many memories, one comes to the mind Jim came to understand that roller skating was not my thing and through the years would bring it up, Every time I fell he would say Debbie get up your embarrassing us. My reply on the last fall was I will not get up and crawled out I told him I could not fall again from here He simply said "true that" There were many more laughs. Thank you my friend for you and Kim stepping up during my heart surgery and recovery. I will never forget your kindness for taking care of my family when I couldn't. Safe journey, my friend, and see you later. .

I'll remember the memories with a smile as we say goodbye to a cherished friend. Going to a Christmas party at Kim and Jim's was better than stepping back into Christmas as a child. Everything decorated down to the last detail, delicious food and a feeling of family warmth and friendship. We were in awe of his ability to make everyone laugh and I will never forget him wading through the stream at Fundy Golf Course, looking for his lost ball, his bare butt visible, his clothes and shoes piled neatly beside the stream. A dare to tee off naked on the eighth hole was met with a grin and total acceptance. He would do almost anything to make us laugh and we loved him for it. He introduced our goofy golf teams with his microphone, pretending to be a professional radio announcer, then pretended to be a preacher when Bob and Sue decided to renew their vows after a couple of drinks at Fundy, even instructed them how to "jump the broom." His grandson, Tanner, will have endless memories of Bampy dressed in a pink bunny suit, swimming with him, walking to the beach, plus the kind of Christmas that some people can only dream of. I have no doubt that Tanner will grow up to be a man like his grandfather was. Even though your hearts are broken, Jim left a legacy of love, humor and Christmas memories better than living with Santa himself.
