I am so sorry to have recently heard of Charlie's passing. I worked with Charlie at New System for many years. He was a very kind and joyful soul to be around and I was very fond of him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

So sorry to read of Buds death. He and Mary were certainly part of my childhood. Many summer visits to Sussex, often with Mary’s mom and Bud’s dad and of course visits to them at the rifle range ( I think that was what they called it). I remember Bud as a very kind, friendly fellow who loved a bit of fun. Sad that we lost touch over the years. treasure your memories. Anne Marie

My sympathies to the Clarke family at this time. Both Mary and Charlie were great friends for many years. Enjoyed working with them at Hillcrest events and shared many good times with plenty of laughs especially in Harvey.

The words "kind","sweet gentleman" reappear in relation to Charlie Clarke. He seemed a happy soul engaged with the stuff of life
as a gregarious people- person and family man, adored by his many Grandkids to whom he was dedicated.Despite setbacks like the loss of his beloved Mary just a few years ago ,he never let adversity get the better of him. This required courage and a love of life, the essence of whom his family could justifiably be proud. Our condolences on your profound loss.
