Obituary of Cindy Danells
It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia Lynn Danells, beloved wife of Michael Danells, announce her unexpected passing which occurred on March 2, 2020, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John on December 26, 1970, she was the daughter of Gordon and Betty (Bates) Millican.
During her life, Cindy loved to spend her time camping, canoeing, and barbequing with her family and friends. In her quiet time she enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with those she loved. Family was something that was always very important to Cindy, she was incredibly proud of her children. She also had a strong work ethic and enjoyed spending time with her colleagues and friends, at Shur Fit Automotive (Downey Auto Group), where she worked for 29 years.
Besides her loving husband, Cindy is survived by her mother, Betty Millican; sons, Joe and Paul of Rothesay; her daughter, Sarah (Ian Donegan) Millican of Ottawa; her brothers, Glenn (Cindy) of Rothesay, Randy (Tammy) of Quispamsis; brothers-in-law: Richard (Jenny), Tim (Karen), Mark (Kim), Jeff (Carolyn); sisters-in-law, Beve Gardner, Sue (Cyril) MacDonald, Jennifer (Danny) Garnett; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cindy was predeceased by her father, Gordon; her brother, Ronald; her mother-in-law, Margaret and her father-in-law, Richard “Joe” Danells.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road (849-2119) with visitation on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to CMT- Charcot Marie Tooth Disease Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.
