Obituary of Grace Vivian Alexander

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Grace Vivian Alexander announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born on August 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Viola (Galbraith) Evans.

Grace is survived by her husband James; daughter Gwen (Robert); sons Leon (Debbie), Gary (Dawn), Stephen (Sharon) and Wade (Patti); brother Lorne (Kathleen); sister-in-law Catherine; brother-in-law George (Pat); chosen sister Sylvia (Allyn); as well as six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Grace is predeceased by her son-in-law Jack Logan; great-granddaughter Hazel Logan; brothers-in-law Art Alexander and Howard McEwan.

Resting at Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from the Brenan’s Bay View Chapel at 10:00 AM.
