Obituary of Irene Clara Kemp

It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Kemp announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on September 30, 1927, she was the loving wife of the late John Kemp.

Irene came from a large family of nine. She spent over 30 years volunteering with the East Saint John food bank and took pride in all of her various volunteer work. Irene was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Irene is survived by her son, Stephen; brother, James; sister Hazel; three grandchildren, Jennifer, James and Matthew; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.

Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West, (634-7425) with visiting on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 12:00 PM.  Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery following the service.
