Obituary of Barbara Dawn Williams

The death of Barbara Dawn Williams, long time resident of Quispamsis, loving wife of Gordon Williams, occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

 

Born on February 26, 1936, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Barton) Allison. Barbara was a Dental Assistant for many years until her retirement.

 

Barbara was a beautiful woman with a golden heart. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to spend her time at their camp in Cumberland Bay and spending the summer boating on the river with her husband, Gordon. She enjoyed knitting, painting and spending time in her garden, playing cards with their friends and spending quality time with her family. Barbara will be deeply missed by all.

 

Besides her husband, Barb is survived by her children: Allison "Al" (Karen), Shawn, Tara McConchie (Glendon) and Gordon (Carrie); and sister Joan Tonge, grandchildren: Aaron, Krystyna, Kurtis, Mitchell, Dougie, Ryan, Jenna, Jake, Sarah, Keira, and Tyler, great granchildren: Charley, Avery, Tori, Brodie, Cody, Dyson, Camden, and Rowan.

 

 Barbara is predeceased by her sister Shirley Anthony.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel at 11AM. Interment to take place at Riverbank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
