Mr.& Mrs. Johnson, Christine, Darrell, and families,
I was saddened to read of your beautiful mother, mother - in -law, and grandmother's passing. I have such incredible memories of her and her kindness with my grandmother when they both lived in Hillcrest Village.
Mrs. Johnson (Margaret), did not have a selfish bone in her body and had such a huge heart. She was devoted to helping others and especially my grand mother as she began to age. There were many sleepless nights that Margaret would go and sit with Grammie while there were thunder and lightening storms, many visits to simply check when she was feeling lonely. We always felt that Grammie was safe with Margaret living across the hall!
It was obvious how much Mrs. Johnson lover her sons, their wifes, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of my fondest memories is when Morgan was born and she came knocking on Grammies door to let us know and then also brought dear little Morgan to visit (on more than one occasion). Both ladies loved babies and children and I believe this is one reason the bond was so strong between them.
I know Margaret will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I trust that all of you will have some solice over the next few days as you reflect on your fond memories. She will always be in your hears.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to get in to give you my personal condolences, please accept this as my sincerest sympathy the loss of such a strong, loving, and determined human being.
Kindest regards,
Jennifer Scott
