We were very upset to hear the news that Uncle Bob had passed. I know he's been courageous over the last few months dealing with his illness. I have fond memories of being around Uncle Bob during our visits to Saint John when I was young. Much swimming, boating, and lobster feasts were had... great times! To the whole Capson family... you are in our thoughts and are so sorry for your loss.

Like many Saint Johners, I will miss Bob’s wisdom, humility and humour.
I had the privilege of serving with him on the Board of the Lily Lake Pavilion for a number of years and was always struck by his willingness to get his hands dirty and his feet wet.
Truly a leader, truly effective and truly a good friend.
Sincere condolences to Jan and family.

I am so sorry for your loss and for the community in general. Bob was a great person and mentor. He was a person when something troubled you, you could go to him with confidence that he would be honest in his opinion and help try to resolve it. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with him and also call him a friend. He is one of the major reasons why I still work at Lily's. His love for the Pavilion and what it stood for makes me proud that I can do what I do. He will be greatly missed.
A friend always

Papa, I will never forget the incredible, kind, generous man you were all through your life. You did so much for so many people, and I know that you are smiling down at us from wherever men like you go. I will never forget all you taught me, all the boating and summer memories we had in Saint John, and just how happy you were to see us when you came to visit. I'm so lucky to have the honour of knowing you, and I couldn't have asked for a better grandfather. I'll miss you forever. Thank you, once more, for everything. I love you. ♡
