He spent the greater part of his life in Saint John and had been employed first as a woodsman and later as an owner-operator for various trucking companies throughout Atlantic Canada. Reg was an active member of the Garnett Settlement Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and particularly enjoyed working on anything mechanical. He was well known for his ingenuity and resourcefulness. Reg had a unique wit that was enjoyed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful Father, and a loving Grampy. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Reginald is survived by a son, David W. Branscombe (Ruth) of Baxter’s Corner; a daughter, Tammy Lackie (H. Kevin) of Garnett Settlement; four grandchildren, Justin, Chantel, Sabrina, and Eric; a step-grandson, Jeremy; a brother, Wade Branscombe (Janis) of Garnett Settlement; a sister, Gail Smith of Saint John; sisters-in-law Myrtle Church (the late William), Evelyn Colpitts (Gordon) , Pauline Murray (the late Warren), Luetta Smith (the late Raymond Steeves) (Jerry), Margaret Van Til (the late Garrett), and Lottie Forsyth (Arnold); an aunt, Lillian Horsman of Dobson Corner; brothers-in-law Everett Branscombe (Grace), Earl Branscombe (the late Evelyn), and Ivan Branscombe (Debbie) and several nieces and nephews.
