Obituary of Mary Eleanor Shillington

The death of Mary Eleanor Shillington occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born on July 6, 1939 in Saint John. Mary Eleanor worked in Montreal for many years for Alcan doing administration work before returning to Saint John. She had a great love for cats, an avid reader, and enjoyed her Art Cub. Mary Eleanor is survived by her cousin, Marjorie Ward of Long Reach and dear friends Roberta Gardner, Janet Teakles and Joan Stewart. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Isabell (Robinson) Gordon. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A Graveside Service will take place at a later date in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
