Obituary of Rita Mary Roberts

With her family at her side the death of Rita Roberts, wife of James H. Roberts occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born on February 23, 1947 in Truro, NS to the late Moses and Hilda (Sutton) Martin. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she dedicated her life to her family. Rita adored her grandchildren they were the apple of her eye. She and James were inseparable; they hunted, fished, and camped together. Besides James her husband of 47 years; Rita is survived by her daughter, Debbie Roberts (Greg Mattson) of Saint John; sons: Dean (Kathy Morris) of Sussex and James C. (Kelly Campbell) of Saint John; grandchildren: Sarah, Kailey, Michelle and Ryan Mattson and Melissa, Jessica and Devon Roberts and great-granddaughters: Madison and Jamie. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There is no formal visitation or service. For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
