Obituary of Michael Francis Cole

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mike, after a courageous 10 month battle with Leukemia. Devoted husband of 24 years to Pam (Martin) and proud father to Thomas Michael. He was son of the late George Henry and Irene Cole. He passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family. Incredibly devoted to his family and a model community advocate. At the time of his death he worked as a Tissue Machine operator at Irving Tissue for 27 Years. He served as a volunteer firefighter in the KV for 22 years. A member of the KV Fire Board for 2 Years. In 1994 Mike and Pam established Cole Stationary in the KV. The first President and a Founder of the KV Chamber of Commerce in 1997. An avid Biker he loved his outings with Pam and his trips to Laconia NH. He loved to host family gatherings a man of many talents he made the best cheese cake and could cook up a feast for friends and extended family like no other. A talented wood worker and carpenter he has rebuilt the finest of wood works in his home and those of his family. A man of integrity with never an unkind word he will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. In addition to Pam and Tom he leaves behind his siblings Joan Guitar, George (Sue), Marsha (Lester) Bastarache, Donnie, Vicky, sister in law; Sue Cole, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mike is deceased by his brother Randy who also passed away on, February 14, 2016. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Catholic Church. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
