Obituary of Christina Hayward

The death of Christina Hayward of Saint John, wife of the late Theodore Hayward, occurred unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born in Scotland, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Christina (Bannerman) Grant. Christina is survived by her daughter, Susan Beyea (Lloyd) of Saint John; three sons, Ronald Grant (Margaret) of Fredericton, Dale Hayward (Shirley) of Saint John, and Stephen Hayward (Theresa) of Saint John; four grandchildren; a sister Ethel Cunningham of Ontario; two brothers, Edward Grant and Christopher Grant (Gert) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Christina’s wishes, a private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Private family visiting will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
